The Korean Film Festival \u2013 KOFF brings to Brazil the most critically acclaimed and highest-grossing South Korean films, showcasing both feature-length and short films across various Brazilian cities. Screenings take place in public spaces and cinemas under the curation of filmmaker, producer, and ECA\/USP professor, Dr. Rubens Rewald.<\/p>

The project’s target audience includes youth and adults aged 16 to 40+, cinephiles, students, teachers, and professionals interested in innovation, creativity, and culture. The Festival’s program features a Non-Competitive Showcase presenting 20 films produced in South Korea, and a Competitive Showcase, open to film submissions from both South Korea and Brazil, in three categories.<\/p>

The project has screened over 100 films, including shorts and features, reaching more than 8 million views on social media from 2023 to 2025. It has also distributed 35,000 free tickets for in-person screenings, hosted international hybrid-format debates, interviews with filmmakers, and workshops in public schools\u2014expanding its national reach with support from the Federal Culture Incentive Law of Brazil\u2019s Ministry of Culture.<\/p>

The Instituto S\u00e3o Paulo de Arte e Cultura \u2013 ISPAC, the Secretariat of Culture, Economy, and Creative Industries of the State of S\u00e3o Paulo, and the Ministry of Culture are official supporters of the Korean Film Festival \u2013 KOFF.<\/p>

In 2025, the Korean Film Festival \u2013 KOFF enters its third edition, starting in Piracicaba and continuing through six other Brazilian cities: Goi\u00e2nia, Fortaleza, Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Belo Horizonte, and concluding in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
