Synopsis: South Korea, 1930s. During the Japanese occupation, young Sookee (Kim Tae-ri) is hired to work for a Japanese heiress, Hideko (Kim Min-Hee), who leads an isolated life alongside her authoritarian uncle. But Sookee has a secret: she and a swindler plan to marry the heiress, steal her fortune and lock her up in a sanatorium. Everything goes well with the plan, until Sookee slowly begins to understand Hideko’s motivations.
