His mother, Sangok, believed that the treatment would bring improvement, but the problem took another form. For more than 10 years, Chaeyoung lived with this condition, and both ended up avoiding talking about the subject. In 2019, Chaeyoung decides to put aside her search for a complete cure and travels to Australia in search of a new beginning. Alone at home, Sangok tries to understand, in her own past, the root of her daughter’s suffering, something that still confuses her. In 2020, due to the pandemic, Chaeyoung returns from Australia, and, after more than a decade of silence, mother and daughter finally started talking about what they had avoided for so long.
